More CCHIT Certifications Announced

The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology, Chicago, has now certified more than 50 ambulatory electronic health record applications under its 2008 criteria. Since mid-May, CCHIT has certified 10 more applications.


Criterions LLC received full certification for its Criterions 1.0.0 application.


Receiving certification pending verification of advanced electronic prescribing capabilities are: Athenahealth Inc., athenaClinicals Version 9.15.1; and LSS Data Systems, Medical and Practice Management Suite Client/Server 5.6. Both products are additionally certified for child health.

 

Receiving pre-market conditional certification, pending verification of use in a physician office site, are: Agastha Inc., Agastha PM & EMR 1.2; Amazing Charts.com, Amazing Charts 5, with additional certification for child health; Axolotl Corp., Elysium 9; Conceptual MindWorks Inc., Sevocity Version 08; San Diego Hospital Physician Corp., Xpert EMR 2.0; and Total Outsource Inc., exEMRxPrivate 7.0.
