Sentillion Inc. has raised $18 million in a third round of private funding. The Andover, Mass.-based vendor sells software to visually integrate patient data from disparate information systems on a single workstation screen. During the first half of 2001, the company signed contracts with 35 hospitals.

Merrill Lynch Ventures was the lead investor--and a first time Sentillion investor--in the third funding round. Other new investors included Dresdner Kleinwort Capital and Universal Health Services. All previous Sentillion investors also participated in the third round. They include First Consulting Group, Inter South Partners, Newbury Ventures, Polaris Venture Partners and St. Paul Venture Capital.
