Salt Lake City-based 3M Health Information Systems has expanded its agreement with Premier Inc., a Charlotte, N.C.-based provider alliance and group purchasing organization.
The vendor previously sold through Premier its coding and reimbursement system, several grouping software products, its health data management system and medical necessity dictionaries. Now, it will add more grouping software covering potentially preventable complications and readmissions, clinical documentation improvement programs, and new ICD-10 modeling and code translation services.
