The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation will offer a total of $200,000 to software developers who create gaming applications that generate useful data to improve health status.

“In playing the developed game applications, participants will be competing or collaborating to improve personal health while simultaneously contributing to the overarching goal of maximizing their community’s health,” according to an explanation.
