The Health Care Financing Administration is accepting nominations for persons to serve on the Advisory Panel on Ambulatory Payment Classification Groups. The groups are major elements of the new Medicare hospital outpatient prospective payment system. Among other changes, the payment system requires significant modifications to hospital financial information systems. HCFA published a notice on the nomination procedure in the Dec. 5 Federal Register.
