Grove Hill Medical Center, a multi-specialty group practice in New Britain, Conn., has implemented digital charting software from SRS Software Inc., Montvale, N.J.
The vendor sells electronic medical records technology based on document imaging that is not a full-blown records system, but enables medical documents to be scanned and placed in a clinical repository. The application enables a provider organization to convert records into electronic form at a lower cost and without the workflow and acceptance challenges that full EMRs bring, according to the vendor.
With nine offices, Grove Hills 70 physicians and 15 ancillary providers represent 18 specialties and serve more than 120,000 patients. Contract terms for the vendors Chart Manager technology were not disclosed. More information is available at srssoft.com.
