Marlborough, Mass.-based Skyscape Inc. has added several new titles to its library of hand- held medical reference applications. The vendor now offers a PDA version of "Mosby's Drug Consult & Interactions 2006," which features information on 1,000 generic drugs. The software can be searched by generic drug name, U.S. brand name, international brand name, indication and drug class.

Skyscape also now offers hand-held versions of each section within the "Cochrane Reviews" treatment guidelines. The sections offer separate reviews of guidelines for more than 30 specialties, including anesthesiology, cardiology, infectious diseases, oncology and pediatrics.

The software can run on smart phones and PDAs running the Palm OS or Windows Mobile operating systems. For more information, go to skyscape.com.
