QuadraMed Corp. has announced the availability of the Affinity radiology information system.
The Reston, Va.-based hospital software vendor got the product and a laboratory information system in early 2004 through the acquisition of D‚tente Systems of Sydney, Australia.
The radiology system--already marketed in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom--has been revamped for the U.S. market and integrated with QuadraMed's core Affinity hospital information system. Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare in St. Paul, Minn., is the first customer for the application.
