GE Healthcare will acquire health industry workforce management software vendor API Healthcare for an undisclosed sum. The vendors expect the deal to close during the first quarter. Hartford, Wis.-based API sells staff and scheduling, patient classification, human resources, talent management, payroll, and time/attendance software, along with supporting data analytics. The company has more than 1,600 hospital and staff agency clients.
