The American Health Information Management Association has launched a series of online ICD-10 compliance training courses.

The self-paced courses target coders and other health care professionals in acute care, ambulatory, home health and long-term care environments. Awareness, implementation preparation and training courses also will be offered for other professionals who will be affected by the conversion.

AHIMA is offering online courses as an alternative to its existing instructor-led ICD-10 Training Academies. More information is available at ahima.org/icd10training/.
