Contributing Content to HEALTH DATA MANAGEMENT

GUIDELINES for submitting:

COMMENTARY: Your expert commentary on issues of importance to the management of data in the healthcare industry will appear in the BLOGS section of this site.

The topic you choose must be important, current and related to advances in or changes affecting the management of data and operations in the healthcare field.
The commentary will be rejected if it is self-promotional or appears to directly or indirectly promote or market a product or service of an organization with which you are affiliated.
The comments will receive professional editing, before appearing on the site. A high-resolution, well-lit headshot of the author, in JPEG format, should be submitted with the commentary. File size should exceed 256 kilobytes.

STORIES: Stories or tips about stories also can be submitted here.

Stories must break new ground in the understanding of health data management issues. These can be breaking news about new techniques in management, new products or services, research, and the like.
As with commentary, though, the news item cannot involve the product or service of any organization with which you are affiliated. Objective, unbiased reporting and analysis are required.

VIDEOS:

Completed videos can be contributed. These will be segregated into two categories: Editorial videos and Sponsored videos. Videos that are independently and objectively produced can qualify as editorial videos and appear on the site if they contribute to the understanding of a major industry issue or data management technique.
Videos that offer a specific product or service as an answer to an issue will be considered sponsored videos and will be reviewed separately. There is a cost for the appearance of sponsored videos on this site.
If your video qualifies as a sponsored video and is considered useful and relevant, you will be contacted with details on how to arrange for its posting.

PODCASTS, PHOTOS, OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS:

Will be reviewed by HDM editors. These are encouraged and welcome. As with all other content, the guideline to follow is: Does this contribute to industry-wide understanding of a significant issue, either from a news or analytical standpoint? And is that understanding objectively delivered, using relevant expertise?
