How Do You Handle the Stress?

 One thing CIOs all seem to have in common is stress-related fatigue—too many I.T. projects, too many mandates, too much pressure to nail down Stage 1 incentive payments and prepare for Stage 2. Health care CIOs are reporting high levels of stress with no end in sight. How are you dealing with the situation, personally and professionally?

Have you brought more direct reports into the decision-making process so everything doesn’t end up on your doorstep? Are you just grinding it out and working longer hours? Have you found new stress-relieving activities, in the office or at home?
