Shannon Reid

Ms. Reid is responsible for leading the firm’s efforts to develop and implement effective tools, resources and education to attract and retain clients that are in or transitioning to retirement as well as to help establish the firm’s advisors as leaders in providing professional and effective advice around this next stage of life. She recently transitioned from the Private Client Group Planning team where she led strategic development, marketing and management of initiatives and projects that support the goals and objectives of clients and advisors.  \r\n Ms. Reid joined Raymond James in June 2007 as Director, Lending and Cash Management and led the complete redevelopment of Raymond James cash management services which included the introduction of a new Raymond James credit card.\r\n Prior to joining Raymond James in 2007, Ms. Reid was a vice president with Goldman Sachs’ Investment Management Division and co-managed the Southeast region of the wealth management business. She has experience in wealth management operations and strategy as well as in the development of wealth management solutions for high net worth clients. She has also worked in a variety of operations, strategy and communications roles with International Paper and as a lobbyist with Direct Impact, a leader in grassroots marketing in Washington, D.C.\r\n Ms. Reid earned her M.B.A from Columbia Business School and her B.A. in political science and economics from Duke University. She currently lives in Tampa, FL with her husband and five-year old twins.\r\n
