In line with our mission to provide healthcare IT professionals and executives with crucial and timely intelligence and insight, Health Data Management launches a redesigned website. (Article and video.)

In line with our mission to provide healthcare IT professionals and executives with crucial and timely intelligence and insight, Health Data Management today launches a redesigned website.

While the home page looks richer and sharper – with a cleaner, simpler interface – the most important changes come via our new publishing platform, which enriches the user experience and enables deeper engagement across all content types.

We invite you to watch the accompanying one-minute video for a visual tour. Meanwhile, here’s a summary of what’s changed:

Take a look at the new HDMWe’ve redesigned HDM’s publishing schedule, and our home and article pages, specifically to meet your work-day needs. Morning and afternoon “day parts” ensure you get the right information in the right format at the right time. An expanded content taxonomy – now ubiquitous in the site experience – surfaces more (and more accurate) related content and lets users drill down at will.

As you start your day, “Morning Rounds” delivers a need-to-know-now report curating the day’s most important news and analysis. To take full advantage, we recommend signing up for Morning Rounds e-newsletter; begin by registering, using the link at far right of navigation bar at the top of the page.

Later in the day, “Second Opinions” offers the editors’ and others’ perspectives on key developments and issues of immediate concern enhanced by data, video, and other rich media.

The most important changes come via our new publishing platform, which enriches the user experience and enables deeper engagement across all content types.Throughout the working day, accessibility and utility are enhanced by the site’s fully responsive design. Users can access a consistent, optimized and intuitive user interface on any device and any screen configuration. And continuous page-loads let users scroll instead of click, limiting unwanted page breaks.

In bringing you the new Health Data Management, we’re grateful to our colleagues at SourceMedia, to the user experience designers at Work & Co. and to the content management system experts at Perfect Sense Digital. In the coming months, we will work with these excellent partners to add new features and functionality that make the site even more useful.

Meanwhile, please let us know what you think. You can send your comments directly to me.
