Gary Baldwin, Editorial Director
Gary has been covering health care since the early 1990s. Prior to rejoining Health Data Management in 2008, he served as technology editor for HealthLeaders Medi for nearly five years. At HealthLeaders, Gary won five national editorial recognition awards from the American Society of Business Publication Editors and the American Society of Healthcare Publication Editors. Gary also covered information technology for the American Medical Association’s weekly newspaper and has presented at numerous conferences. Howard J. Anderson, Executive Editor
The founding editor of the magazine and former publisher, Howard took on the newly created role of Executive Editor in 2006. In this role, he writes in-depth stories for the magazine, serves as a featured speaker at industry events, and coordinates special projects, including the Health Data Management Clinical Automation Summit, a conference slated for September 17-18 in Chicago. Joe Goedert, News Editor
Joe takes the lead role in generating news for Health Data Management's award-winning Web site. He also coordinates the magazine’s news coverage. Before joining the magazine in 1998, he was editor of a sister publication, Health Data Network News, which was replaced by the magazine's Web site.
